Your website is live. Why is it hard to find on Google?

Check indexing, service content, page titles, and old URLs before assuming the whole website needs rebuilding.

Your website is live. Why is it hard to find on Google?

A live website is not automatically visible in search. Separate discovery and indexing issues from ranking, then investigate the cause.

Is the site missing, or ranking lower?

New sites need time to be discovered. Ask your team to inspect indexing in Google Search Console and check that launch did not leave test-site indexing restrictions in place. An indexed page appearing lower in results is a different problem from a page Google cannot access.

Explain each important service

If services meet different needs, give important ones their own clear pages. Describe who each service suits, what problem it addresses, and how collaboration works. Use language customers understand rather than generic claims about quality.

Put essential information in readable text

Service details and contact information should not exist only inside images. Use readable page text and write titles and descriptions that match each page. Repeating the same company description everywhere makes individual topics less clear.

Protect useful URLs during a redesign

Inventory important old URLs before changing them. Keep them or redirect them to corresponding new pages, then check navigation and links inside articles and case studies. An old search result should still lead somewhere useful.

Measure useful visits and inquiries

SEO cannot guarantee a first-page position. Content, competition, and the search context all affect results. Review which searches bring relevant visitors and which pages lead to inquiries, then add the information customers still need.

Before you start

  • Inspect indexing and launch restrictions.
  • Give important services clear text and topics.
  • Map changed URLs to appropriate destinations.
  • Assign someone to review search traffic and inquiries.

Your next step

Bring your website address and the services customers should find. We can check the basic obstacles and prioritize clearer content before discussing larger changes.
