Bringing people to a page is only the start. Before raising the budget, check whether the page delivers what the advertisement promised and makes ordering practical.
Find the stage where people leave
Separate ad click, page arrival, product view, cart addition, checkout, and confirmed payment. Investigate speed and links before arrival, product fit and availability before the cart, and forms and payment during checkout. Platform reports may differ from recorded orders because of attribution windows, consent, devices, and blockers; do not invent conversions to force agreement.
Match promise, speed, and next action
Show the advertised item, offer conditions, dates, and redemption method directly. Prioritize products and ordering over a large introductory video or competing company news. Coordinate campaigns with stock and opening hours so staff do not have to explain an unavailable promise.
Give the page one primary task
Use a specific proposition, real product image, clear contents and price, relevant branches, necessary fees, and pickup rules. Repeat the same main call to action where useful. Explain coupon restrictions before claiming and keep brand identity and contact information available. Use verifiable reviews rather than invented testimonials.
Validate tracking with a test order
Plan relevant product, cart, checkout, and purchase events with correct transaction identifiers, values, currency, and deduplication. If browser and server events coexist, confirm their matching. Apply appropriate notices and permissions, avoid personal or payment details in general analytics, and test refreshing the success page and returning from payment.
Set an affordable acquisition cost
Illustratively, 1,000 arrivals at 2% conversion produce 20 orders; 3% produces 30. TWD 10,000 ad spend then changes cost per acquisition from TWD 500 to about TWD 333. If first-order contribution is only TWD 120, higher conversion alone does not justify scaling. Check repeat-purchase value with actual data and test one main variable at a time.
Before you start
- Match the ad and the available offer.
- Test mobile loading, action, and payment.
- Reconcile events and deduplication with test orders.
- Set an affordable CAC using contribution and proven repeat visits.
