Someone finding your restaurant on Maps may already be choosing a meal. Give that person a clear route to the right branch and a usable menu.
Connect discovery to an available action
Customers compare location, opening hours, photos, menus, and reviews. Link each branch to its appropriate ordering page instead of making everyone search again from the brand homepage. A map click is intent, not a guaranteed purchase; availability, delivery area, and pickup times still matter.
Check the options in your managed profile
Use an authorized account for the verified Business Profile. Find the available ordering, pickup, delivery, or related link settings and add the branch’s official URL. If a preferred-provider option is available, check pickup and delivery separately. Test the public result and full order on a phone outside the management account. Fields vary by region, category, and interface; a link is not automatically a native Google transaction integration.
Audit third-party entry points
Review which providers are authorized and still usable. Follow Google’s and the provider’s procedures for changes or removal, then verify publicly. Choosing a preference does not guarantee other links disappear or that every user sees identical ordering. Direct ordering still has payment, delivery, and maintenance costs.
Maintain accurate local information
Keep name, address, phone, category, regular and special hours current. Publish a readable menu and real location and pickup photos. Invite honest reviews without buying them or exchanging rewards for positive ratings. The source guide describes relevance, distance, and prominence as ranking factors; complete information does not guarantee a position.
Measure the whole path
Where link rules and the ordering system permit, use suitable campaign parameters without disrupting payment. Check menu visits, checkout starts, confirmed orders, attribution, and deduplication. Review closures, sold-out items, and broken links weekly, and account for holidays and opening days when comparing periods.
